All of this Hell...just to get a little piece of Heaven

I threw something else on the DUNG Pile today!

Yep! It was nothing but some nasty waste that I had to get rid of.

It is a shame that we have to go through so much Hell just to get the little piece of Heaven that God wants us to have while we are here on this earth!

My heart had to broken before I could see what good things that God has for me!

The tears were bitter! But the blessing is sweet!

I have finally stepped up and put the Devil under my feet!

I could not see what was hindering my blessing!

But I thank God for the test that has taught me a lesson!

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

3For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Hebrews 12: 1-3

I threw some more stuff on my dung pile today and I feel a whole lot better. This time, I am not going back to get it. I am determined to let it stay there and rot!

snake, lizard, reptiles,

What On Earth is A Snizard???

View My Blog

A few days ago, my two teenage, handsome and very tall sons, called me outside to see what they called a "snizzard".

When I reached the side of my house where they were, my youngest son was frantically stalking a strange looking snake with feet with the yard rake. The reptile had the head of a snake, and the body of a lizard. Wow! It was creepy! I had never in all of my years,(no comment!) seen or heard of such a creature!

Of course, teenage boys love to have fun with creatures of that sort. I looked at their reptile victim with scary curiosity. However, I felt much safer by leaving the three of them to their own devices.

I will not mention what happened to the snizzard whenever they both finally captured it. Needless to say, it will not be in my yard again.

However, my curiosity was peaked. What on earth is a snizzard??? Google was right there to help me on my quest to find my answer.

A snizzard is a half snake and half lizard. I mean really! Aren't these two creatures like...first cousins or something? The snizzard has hands (ick!) that are the same shape of the snakes head and mouth. I guess that he has to look like both parents. I heard that they can bite you and it will hurt! I really would not want to attend one of their family reunions.

I live in a nice neighborhood. No gangsters or loud noises. My neighbors are very nice and we have all lived here for years. I guess the manicured yards, basketball goals and fenced in back yards in our quiet little world, needed to have a wierdo. I am glad that it was the snizzard. At least, we do know his family! (wink!)

BTW, I am fully aware that the correct spelling is "snizard". It is just more fun to spell it with two z's instead of one!

The Love of Money vs The Love of Benefits

The Love of Money or The Love of Benefits???

There is an old and very true saying that, 'the love of money is the root of all evil!" I agree!

The love of money tells a whole lot about a person.  Whenever a person is motivated by money, they get kinda shifty.

They will do things that requires a very intelligent and scheming mind to accomplish. The love of money will cause an individual to compromise their integrity just to get those Dead Presidents. It gives them a false sense of power!

The benefits sells the job to the employee. Yes, unfortunately, I as an employee have to be enticed or bought! (Ha!)

Whenever I  go to work, I have to have something other than money to motivate me and to  keep me coming back for more. (More of what???  That is a different blog!)

Good benefits will go a whole lot further than money. Money comes and money goes. But whenever it is time to visit the doctor, or the dentist, or to take some much needed rest time from the job, the benefits stand at the top!

The good thing about benefits is that I donot have to compromise my integrity to get them. The only requirement is that I am on the payroll, come to work and do the best darn job that I possibly can. That is something that I love to do.

So, as the benefits roll in, this Ole Girl will climb out of bed, take a shower, get prayed up, read a little bit, and cheerfully log into to work each day, greeting my customers with joy! "Thank you for calling...This is Janice. How may I help you today!"

Cha-ching!

 Rock on Benefits!

work, office, customer service, angry, reaping,

My headset has been removed.

My professional tone has ceased.

The phone is no longer ringing nonstop.

This is the end of my work day.

Now, I have time to reflect!

Did I treat my customers as though they were signing my pay check?

Was I professional and polite to my co-workers?

Or did I scheme and plot to make them look bad, while I stood out as the best CSR on the block?

Did I become upset when my work was constructively criticized, or did I take it all in stride, knowing

that I can learn from my mistakes?

Did I treat everybody the way that I would like to be treated?

At the end of the day, we all have to realize that one thing is certain; we will certainly reap what we sew.

Sooner or later, today, tomorrow, or years down the road, our actions and decisions will return to us.

Whatever we sent out will come back to us in full force. It is best to sew good and let the devil reap

all of the bad!

Don't "Waste" Your Time!

I was tested again today! But life is filled with tests and trials! It is up to us if we chose to take a stand and past the test. Or, if we are going to fall by the wayside and bow down to the flesh.

I chose to stand!

(Psalms 37)

If you see a woman in high authority in the work place, and she is not having any problems at all, you better remember, she got there by compromising something that was dear to her.

Throw it on the dung pile! It is not worth the waste!

Journey on soldier!

Throw It On The Dung Pile Soldier!

3Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

4No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

2 Timothy 2: 3-4-
I have to remember this scripture while I am at work. Even though I am a Christian and work for man...I still have to represent the God that I serve.

Sometimes, it is very easy to get caught up in the negative mumbo jumbo that goes on the work place. This will cause you to lose focus and to forget that you are just passing through, and that your life is still about ministry.
